Savage Star Wars Game 5

The Lost Worlders started out at Worfs funeral with tears and cries.

Where at that funeral Yoda intruduced them to there replacement, WD-40.

Whom he will help track down Darth Mysteria. After there meeting, James Bonder had found out that Darth had recently visited Sy and Obi-Ones home. Also at the funeral they had found Polo’s relitave. He told them he knew where Sylon Brasier was they decided to meet up in a week to go see him. During that week they decided to head to Sy and Obi-One’s village to see if she’d done anything. When they got there they saw it was still damaged and destroyed. They decided to look around when mercinaries attacked. The mercinaries had also wanted the droid. The Lost worlders defeated them all except the leader who had cowardly ran away.

Savage Star Wars – James Bonder Background

born on tattowine the young james bonder hated his life there parents owed money and he dided have many freinds at the age of three he stowed away on the ship that anaikin skywalker was on when he was to become a jedi he sliped off at courosunt and he found him himself in the presence of pythos urganice he sensed a great matter  of the force in him so he went with him to the jedi council and he was to be trained

5 years has past and james sensed that his family has been in trouble he told his master and they flown to tatowine they found there dead body as james about burst with fury pythos said fear leads to anger anger leads to hate hate leads to suffering as james takes a deep breath and says ill never go to dark side but ill always love these people i wonder who or what  killed them he said

Star Wars Game 4 – The Death of Worf

The Padawans made plans with their Jedi Masters regarding the information they had learned about R4 and decided to meet with Polo Muerde, a Mon Calamari Jedi Master. After a brief inter-system discussion Polo invited them to his droid building and training facility on a nearby planet. The Padawans arrived with no difficulty and landed at the space port. Polo’s facility was easy to find but when they arrived, the doors were open but no lights were on and apparently no one was home.

Polo’s quarters were at the back of the facility and they had to travel through the training facility to get there. James decided to check out one of the observation booths and as as the Padawan’s were going through the facility he spotted a body on the floor. Elderkin was first on the scene and administered first aid, but he was too late. The body was Polo and he was gasping his last breath as they all looked on…”It’s a trap!” Just then all the doors in the training facility slammed shut and droids lined up in Polo’s quarters as 3 Reborns (undead Sith) lined up at the entrance.

Worf bravely stood in front of the doors to Polo’s chambers, ready to pounce as soon as the doors opened. James engaged the Reborn from his position in the observation booth. Elderkin dove for cover as Sy and R4 tried to open one of the side doors. The droids opened the door and came charging in blasters blazing! Worf miraculously took only 1 wound and then engaged two of the deadliest droids in combat. He also took three droids out with a grenade. But it was to be his last stand as the two deadly droids chopped him to bits.

James had taken out two of the Reborns but the third entered the arena as someone announced over the loudspeaker, “give us the R4 and you will be spared”. Our brave Padawans were not about to give up on their flawed R4 unit and Elderkin used the force to obscure Sy and the R4 unit. Elderkin, Sy and Obi-Wan went into full fight mode and cleared out the remaining droids while James took care of the rest of the Reborns. Unfortunately, too late they saw a Sith Lady clearing out the records from Polo’s chambers and destroying his computers. She made a quick getaway while the Padawan’s were busy.

As the Padawan’s sifted through the wreckage in Polo’s quarters they found evidence that Polo had been using an off site backup service so there is still a chance his computer files can be recovered. Additionally the Sith Lady was in such a hurry she did not notice that a piece of paper slipped fell out of her hands. The paper mentioned other Muerde family members.

The Padawans informed the Jedi council about what had happened. The council told them to return Worf’s body to them for a proper Wookie funeral. Many Jedi were saddened this day, by the falling of a dear friend, boon companion and fearless ally.

Star Wars Game 3

Our intrepid Star Travellers started the game by realizing they could not possibly be on the right planet.  So they re-checked their Navigation charts and R4 realized her error.  Soon they were docking on the correct planet and visiting the local establishments looking for a guide to take them up the trails to the volcano.  Elderkin remained aboard the ship with their prisoner Madicus Rex (as usual).

After finding a guide, they started for the volcano.  The trip was long and while they were resting their guide scouted ahead to make sure the trail was clear.  While he was gone, a band of Confederate goons attacked them!  It was a bloody battle!  The Padawans took heavy wounds, but soon managed to take out the Confederate attackers.  Assuming the guide had planned this trap for them, they decided to go forward and see if they could find the path to the volcano on their own.  About an hour later they find the body of the guide and his speeder bike wrecked in the woods.

Later, as the Padawans get close to the volcano, they spot a path leading to some caves.  They explore the caves and discover a hoard of crystals being guarded by a small squad of droids.  Even in their wounded conditions they were able to dispatch the droids and take the crystals with them back to the ship.

All the Padawans were able to make Lightsabers, as they travelled back to the Jedi Council to report what they found.  While at the council, they discovered that R4 has a glitch caused by some special hardware and software that is intricate to her systems.  They find that a Jedi droid maker named Cylon Brazier created R4-GMM.  The Padawans have decided to visit one of the few people who knew Cylon well…his Jedi Master and expert droid builder, Polo Muerde.

This Month (supposedly): The resolution of the meeting with Dubu and Lightsabers will be constructed!

So our intrepid Star travelers cleaned up the monastery and took the scientist (Madicus Rex) as prisoner. The Padawans discovered that the crystals they found were of poor quality and would not last long if used in Lightsabers.

Their Jedi Masters then tried to complete negotiations with Dubu the Hutt. But as usual, negotiations with the Hutts are not easy. The Hutts required additional payments be made to them by the Empire in order to sign the treaty with the Empire.

While the negotiations were going on, the Padawans did some interrogating of Madicus Rex. Eventually they discovered that Darth Tyranus is prepared to slaughter his entire family in order to keep his experiments with The Force secret. So the Jedi agreed to rescue Madicus’ family in exchange for the location of a planet with crystals that can be used for making Lightsabers.

The Jedi Masters needed to head back to the Jedi Council in order to work out the deal with the Empire and the Hutts. They agreed to let the Padawans decide what the best course of action for them would be. They could either come back to the Jedi Council or go searching for crystals. The Padawans chose crystals.

Since they had no ship, they decided to take the one that the Confederates were using and that Madicus had access to. Their plan was to have Madicus claim that he needed to get something off of the ship and that he had brought the rest of these people as bearers. However, when asked for identification code, Madicus found that his code was no longer any good and a firefight broke out. They were attacked from the rear by a group of mercenaries that they recognized from Dubu’s throne room. They seemed to be led by an Empire ambassador.  After a couple of crippling attacks on the Padawans, they were able to get aboard the ship. The guards then dropped their weapons and backed away to let them leave when Obi-Wan (Ben) shot the unarmed guard and killed him!  He drew 3 corruption cards! I suspect he will be the first to succumb to the Dark Side.

The Padawans sent a message to the Jedi Council that there may be an Empire traitor in their midst. Then R4 made a critical failure on her Navigation roll (again). They wound up at the wrong planet; however, all believe they were on the right planet to find the crystals.  What they found was a large angry creature and a cave full of guano covered crystals of very poor quality. After Worf took the creature down with just one shot, James Border critically failed his roll in the guano cave and was made very sick.

Next Month: Lightsabers will be constructed?  I’m not holding my breath on that.  :)

Our first game playing Evil Mike’s Savage Worlds Star Wars rules. I basically used the best ideas of other people and added some of my own.

Our game started with the Padawans and their Masters, being asked to visit Dubu the Hutt and secure his agreement to either join the Galactic Empire, open up travel through Hutt space, or at least not join the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The group is sent to Tatooine with a wookie and R4 droid on one of the Jedi transport ships.

After a critical failure on a navigation roll, the wookie was able to escape the scout ships from the confederacy that had spotted them. Back on track they arrived a day late to meet with Dubu. Upon arriving, the Jedi Masters were called away on an emergency mission, leaving the Padawans to begin negotiations with Dubu. Dubu asked for a good faith showing from the Jedi (after remarking about the lack of even one Jedi Master to negotiate with). He wanted the Jedi to clear out a neighboring monastery that Dubu was interested in acquiring. After some trepidation the padawans agreed to see what they could do. There was one catch, they had only 2 days to get it done since the Confederacy was coming the padawans wanted to have a deal with Dubu before then.

The padawans went to the nearby town and did some digging around on the monastary. They found out that Dubu had been trying to get his hands on it for several years. R4-GMM discovered the plans to the monastary and they quickly (like 45 minutes!) decided to go through the back door that led into an underground cave.

Upon sneaking into the cave they discovered a giant worm that was guarding the back door. After several useless attacks, they determined that they could shoot the stalagmite off the ceiling and crush the worm! After several rounds of attempting this, they finally succeeded. Obi-Wan and James found crystals for their Lightsabers and Worf found a dead body. Elderkin and R4 determined that the body was that of a “reborn”. A dark side force re-animated corpse that had been imbued with force powers. With R4’s help on the door, they got into the monastary.

Going to the control room first, R4 tapped into the cameras and discovered a lab where it appeared a scientist was using huge “force batteries” to transfer the force from a couple of victims (or volunteers?) into two new corpses. They quickly went to dispatch the scientist. Again with R4’s help to unlock the door, they nearly killed the scientist and asked him to surrender. He accepted, but not before sending a message off to some unknown person at some unknown location. Just then the Padawan’s masters showed up to offer their aid.

Next Month: The resolution of the meeting with Dubu and lightsabers will be constructed!
